EASTER BAR CART

For any occasion or gathering, one thing I love doing is decorating and styling my bar cart. Bar carts are the perfect furniture piece by day and entertaining piece by night. Since Easter is around the corner, I decided to share this idea of an Easter Bar Cart.

I have an obsession with balloon garland at the moment, so I knew I had to find a way to include it. After finding these pastel balloons, I used strip decorating tape to make the garland. Having these balloons surrounding the bar cart adds some flair and draws the guests' attention. I also like to add decorative pieces that contribute to the theme to help dress it up.

When styling the top tier, I always try to incorporate at least one beverage and one dessert. For this Easter themed bar cart, I popped a bottle of bubbly and garnished each glass with some petter cottontails (cotton candy). No matter the occasion, I always find some festive cocktail napkins to place on the top tier so guests don't have to hunt for them. For the dessert, I decided to bake a semi-naked strawberry cake with buttercream frosting. I used a white chocolate ganache on top to tie in that pale yellow color and added a cake topper. If you're in a time crunch or feeling lazy, semi-naked cakes are the way to go. They're quick and effortless, yet still elegant looking.

When styling the second tier, I decided to add some flowers, finger foods and a cocktail. Flowers always brighten up a bar cart and tie everything together when they match the color-scheme. For finger foods, I made some chocolate covered pretzels and chocolate covered strawberries. Just add some sprinkles, place on a festive dish & voila! For the cocktail, I decided to go with a lemon drop martini because of the pale yellow color. Don't forget to sugar the rim!
